DWA have been working with baby loss charity, Aching Arms to develop specialist support for bereaved Dads.  We have spoken with Aching Arms at length and discovered that our intentions are the same, to find support that is right for each parent on their journey of loss. Like most organisations, Aching Arms recognise the need for dads to open up with other dads who have an understanding of what they are going through.   DWA would like to welcome Aching Arms dads into our family whilst promoting the wonderful work that Aching Arms do to promote well being and support for all bereaved families.   Dan Hill, Director of DWA said, 'It is a win win situation for devastated parents. Aching Arms are a wonderful charity doing fabulous work for bereaved families, we welcome any Aching Arms Dads who want to join our Dads support groups on their healing journey. I would like to thank Leanne Turner, Founder/CEO of Aching Arms and her team for putting faith in us to offer this support.' If you would like to request an Aching Arms comfort bear you can do this via their website, many Dads have told us how their bear has helped eased the ache in their empty arms
