I lost my son in 2013 and was in a bad place for a long while, as with everyone else here I still have bad days, but that's what DWA are here for.
was introduced to the founder of DWA by a mutual friend and found a place that dad's and male relatives in general could be honest and up front with their feelings and how lost they feel for the first time. Gradually got more involved to the point that I wanted to be able to help others.
I'm now on the graphics team and do what I can for people to help them remember their loss that way.
I live near Leeds but am a southerner, have worked in pubs for most of my adult life, except a short 3 year stint in politics, and am always here if anyone needs to talk.
